Satisfies man’s totality
One of the major plans God has for us is to satisfy all our needs which are umbrella under spiritual, physical and emotional. The three mentioned are the total of man and we are not complete if one of the three are lacking. The scriptures tell us that God will meet all our needs according to his riches in glory (Phil4:19). The satisfaction of our physical needs is a sign of God’s intent for suppling all our needs, it is the easiest one to work with. We have needs that are beyond our physical needs, Jesus said that man shall not live on bread alone (Mt4:4). Most of our emphasis in life is directed to seeking material things, because since our bodies are made out of dust we seek those things; and it is God’s gift to man (Ecc5:19). The earthen things that come from the land make us happy; God made it that way.
Psalms 104:13-15
He waters the mountains from his upper chambers; the land is satisfied by the fruit of his work.14 He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate bringing forth food from the earth: 15 wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine, and bread that sustains their hearts. 16 The trees of the Lord are well watered, the cedars of Lebanon that he planted.
God’s pleasure is to satisfy all his creation with their daily bread and it pleases him to see us happy. It is the law of creation, that it is supposed to bring forth fruit to satisfy God’s most precious creation. The earth is the production plant and from it he sustains us. God satisfies our souls so that our faces may shine his goodness. The disciples were concerned that Jesus had not eaten when he came to the well and encountered the women at the well (Jh4:31-32). But, Jesus had another nourishment that transcended far beyond the physical. The Jews always thought that Moses was the one who gave their ancestors the mana, but it was not he who gave it to them it the Father from heaven. This time the mana that came to man was Jesus himself(Jh6:32-33). In fact, Jesus said that he was the bread of life(Jh6:35), so now the earth did not produce this bread, but it came from heaven. Now, the people took Jesus’ statement literal, and were stuck in this law of creation of supplying needs, because now they needed to eat human flesh; as they thought(Jhn6:52-53). From that time on many of Jesus’ disciples ceased from following him except for his twelve, because they recognized that he was the only one with words of life (Jhn6:68-69).
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

he has also given him the abilityg]
to eat from them, to receive his reward, and to find enjoyment in his toil;

31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.
John 6:32-33
32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
John 6:35
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
John 6:52-53
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
John 6:68-69
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
